In the fast-paced world of triathlon racing, Cal Tri Events is redefining the athlete experience with inclusive, affordable, and flexible events that make the sport more accessible than ever.
For just $85, athletes secure an all-in early price with no hidden fees, no overpriced insurance schemes. A small general liability fee and 6%+$1 RunSignUp processing fee are the only additions. One transparent price. Full stop.
Free race transfers, deferrals, and participant transfers as late as the day before the race. Life happens. We empower athletes to make choices without financial penalty, especially when safety is a concern.
Young athletes aged 7–17 compete at no cost in most Cal Tri Events races across six formats. We're removing financial barriers and opening the door for every kid to experience the joy of triathlon.
Free swim and transition clinics the day before every race led by expert coaches and sometimes Olympic athletes. No extra cost. Seven free two-day skills camps across 7 markets per year.
If a natural disaster causes cancellation, athletes receive a full refund. No questions asked. Born from Hurricane Helene in 2024, this policy ensures we truly stand behind our athletes when it matters most.
Most races offer 18 event options: 6 Olympic (Triathlon, RunBikeRun, SwimBike, SwimRun, Swim, Run), 6 Sprint, 6 Youth Sprint. Athletes pick what works for them. No one-size-fits-all.
