Newport Beach, CA — May 20, 2026 — Optimism, the well-being media platform reaching more than 2 million subscribers, today announced a three-year title sponsorship of Cal Tri Events Series, the country’s largest, national fast course endurance race series. The partnership brings together two organizations united by a shared conviction: that wellness is not an aspiration for the few, but a practice open to everyone willing to pursue it.

Cal Tri Events operates as a 501(c)3 nonprofit with a national footprint with multiple races in all 4 times zones in states including California, Arizona, Texas, North Carolina, Virginia & Maryland, The race series offers 18 distinct race formats — from youth sprints to Olympic distance events — designed to welcome athletes at every level of experience. On average, 50% of participants at any given Cal Tri Events race are competing in their first triathlon. The Cal Tri Events Kids program, funded by the athlete community itself, allows youth to race for free.

That commitment to accessibility is precisely why Optimism aligned with it.

“Optimism was built to serve people who take their well-being seriously — but ‘serious’ has never meant exclusive. Cal Tri Events was founded on the same belief: that the pursuit of a healthy, active life should be open to anyone ready to begin. The 10,000+ athletes that register annually in this community are living proof of what it looks like to invest in longevity not as a concept, but as a practice. That’s the community our brands were made for,” said Nicholas Pardon, Founder & Chairman, Optimism.

Across the three-year partnership, Optimism will serve and connect the Cal Tri Events community through the editorial reach of its two flagship brands — All Healthy and Super Age — delivering inbox content that supports athletes in their training, their health, and their daily pursuit of well-being. Together, Optimism and Cal Tri Events will co-develop expanded training content and programs designed for the full range of athletes the series attracts. Dedicated brand experiences and activations at races throughout the national calendar will bring the expertise of the Optimism platform to life in person — and Optimism’s more than 2 million subscribers will be invited to take part in the races themselves, creating a direct pathway from the inbox to the starting line.

“Our mission has always been to make triathlon safe, affordable, and accessible — and to serve our athletes well before, during, and long after race day,” said Thom Richmond, Founder, President & CEO of Cal-Tri. “Optimism brings exactly the kind of expertise and community our athletes are looking for. This partnership means more resources, better preparation, and a richer experience for everyone who toes the starting line with us. That’s the kind of partnership we’ve always wanted to build.”

Optimism’s activation continues throughout the year with the series finale at Optimism Cal Tri Newport Dunes on November 1. Started in 1978 as the Human Race Triathlon, Optimism Cal Tri Newport Dunes is the longest running triathlon in the world operating from the same location.
