Triathlon = swim + bike + run. Triathlon Relay is 2 or 3 athletes combined to complete the triathlon. SUMMARY:2021 Cal Tri Fry's Spring
DESCRIPTION:2021 Cal Tri Fry’s Spring  - 6.27.21 is a Sprint triathlon that starts and finishes at Fry’s Springs Beach Club. It features a 400 meter swim in a 50 meter pool\, a 12 mile rolling bike course and a 5 K run. \nSprint = Sprint + Sprint Relay + Sprint SwimBike + Sprint SwimRun + Sprint Swim + 5K \nROUTES. \nAID STATIONS.  Aid stations will be located every 1.5 to 2 miles along each course and will include:  Water\, Gatorade\, Pepsi\, Cuties\, bananas\, Fig Newtons\, min-pretzels\, California Raisins\, blueberries & chia seeds.  Sunscreen will also be available. \nAWARDS.  (TOP 3 OA MALE & FEMALE). 36 awards are given to the top 3 overall finishers\, both male and female\, in each event. There are no age group awards due to the number of events and the amount of time required to distribute them. Athletes will earn points in the Grand Prix USA standings which will be tallied by the end of the year. \nSPRINT (36) - Triathlon\, Relay\, SwimBike\, SwimRun\, Swim & 5K Run \nPACKET PICKUP.  Race morning only. \nRACE PHOTOS.  A couple days after the race photos will be uploaded in a folder on the Cal Tri Events Facebook Page so they can be tagged and shared. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVolunteer One\, Get One (VOGO). Are you unable to race or maybe you have family or friends coming to the race to cheer you on?  Yes\, then please consider volunteering at the race. The days of volunteering for only a t-shirt and a bagel are over. VOGO is a great way to volunteer and earn a free race or earn community service hours.
