SUMMARY:2026 Cal Tri Charlottesville
DESCRIPTION:Register Now\n  \n2026 Cal Tri Charlottesville - 8.30.26 is a Sprint triathlon that starts and finishes at Fry’s Springs Beach Club in Charlottesville\, Virginia. It features a 350-meter swim in a 50-meter pool\, a 12.7 mile rolling bike course\, and a 5K run.  After completing the pool swim\, athletes transition to the out-and-back bike course on Old Lynchburg Rd.  The bike course is open to vehicular traffic but there are police officers giving athletes the right of way at key intersections.  For the run\, the new out-and-back 5K run  is mostly on asphalt and crushed gravel winding its way through a local neighborhood and and ending with a slight downhill finish at Fry’s Spring Beach Club. \n12 EVENT OPTIONS. 6 Sprint distance events (Triathlon\, RunBikeRun\, SwimBike\, SwimRun\, 400 yard Swim & 5K Run) and 6 Youth Sprint distance events (Triathlon\, RunBikeRun\, SwimBike\, SwimRun\, 400 yard Swim & 5K Run).
