DESCRIPTION:Cal Tri Events is pleased to announce the addition of 2021 Cal Tri Fort Worth - 4.18.21 to the recent national expansion. \n2021 CAL TRI FORT WORTH - 4.18.21 is the right place to enjoy some Texas hospitality as well as a dozen remarkable districts full of culture and fun.  The historic western Stockyards feature the world’s only twice-daily cattle drive\, a connected downtown with the 35-block Sundance Square district and the park-filled Cultural District with the Kimbell Art Museum and four other museums\, the Botanic Garden and nearby Fort Worth Zoo\, ranked top 5 in the nation. \nRACE COURSE.  The 250 acre Marine Creek Lake serves as race headquarters.  Sprint athletes swim 400 yards in Marine Creek Lake followed by a 12.5 mile rolling bike course capped off with a 5K that edges the lake.  Olympic athletes swim 1640 yards followed by a 2 loop rolling bike course and ending with a 10K scenic loop around the lake. \nRACE OPTIONS.  Olympic Distance (Triathlon\, Triathlon Relay\, SwimBike\, SwimRun\, 1640 Yard Swim & 10K Run) and Sprint Distance (Triathlon\, Triathlon Relay\, Swim Bike\, SwimRun\, 400 yard Swim & 5K Run).  There is something for everyone! \nVolunteer One\, Get One (VOGO). Are you unable to race or maybe you have family or friends coming to the race to cheer you on?  Yes\, then please consider volunteering at the race. DESCRIPTION:2021 CAL TRI AUSTIN - 4.25.21 will be held deep in the heart of Texas in Pflugerville\, approximately 20 miles northeast of downtown Austin.  U.S. News & World Report named Austin the No. 1 place to live in the U.S. for 2017 and 2018.  The city’s official slogan promotes Austin as “The Live Music Capital of the World”\, a reference to the city’s many musicians and live music venues.  Whether it is the music\, food\, or eclectic art scene the Austin area is the place to be. \nRACE OPTIONS.  12 unique event options at both the Olympic Distance (Triathlon\, Triathlon Relay\, SwimBike\, SwimRun\, 1640 Yard Swim & 10K Run) and Sprint Distance (Triathlon\, Triathlon Relay\, Swim Bike\, SwimRun\, 400 yard Swim & 5K Run).  There is something for everyone! \nRACE COURSE.  Lake Pflugerville\, a 180-acre reservoir that provides the citizens of Pflugerville with drinking water\, serves as the swim venue and race headquarters.  The bike course is a rolling\, 13 mile loop and the run course is a 3-mile trail around Lake Pflugerville.  Sprint athletes complete the bike and run course 1 time versus 2 times for Olympic athletes.   This is the same course as the highly regarded Lake Pflugerville Triathlon. \nVolunteer One\, Get One (VOGO).
