DESCRIPTION:2022 Cal Tri Lake Monticello Half Marathon - 9.18.22 is located in central Virginia only 15 miles from Charlottesville where athletes and supporters will get the opportunity to appreciate the virtually unlimited list of things to do in the heart of historic Virginia including visiting Monticello\, UVa\, the Carter Mountain Orchard\, James Monroe’s Highland or the many local wineries. \nRACE COURSE.  Lake Monticello\, a 3\,500 acre gated community in central Virginia\, is the home base for our race. Our Half-Marathon athletes will enjoy a looped run around Lake Monticello\, while our 5K athletes will race an out and back along the same route.
