SUMMARY:2021 Cal Tri Crozet Park
DESCRIPTION:2021 CAL TRI CROZET PARK - 7.11.21 starts at the Crozet Park ACAC and is the perfect beginner race for athletes who are tri-curious but are still gaining confidence in open water.  For those athletes who want no swimming\, the duathlon (run/bike/run) is a great option.  This family-friendly\, community event welcomes family and friends to cheer these great athletes from start to finish! \nRACE COURSE.  Sprint triathlon athletes start with a 350 meter seeded\, rolling start pool swim followed by a rolling 11.6-mile bike ride with 712’ of elevation before finishing up with a fast and relatively flat 5K.  Duathletes start with a fast & flat 1 mile run to spread out the athletes and then ride the previously described 11.6-mile bike course and 5K run. \nRACE OPTIONS.  Sprint Distance (Triathlon\, Triathlon Relay\, SwimBike\, SwimRun\, 350 meter Swim & 5K Run) & Duathlon (1 mile Run\, 11.6-mile Bike & 1 mile Run) \nVolunteer One\, Get One (VOGO). SUMMARY:2021 Cal Tri Fry's Spring
DESCRIPTION:2021 Cal Tri Fry’s Spring  - 6.27.21 is a Sprint triathlon that starts and finishes at Fry’s Springs Beach Club. It features a 400 meter swim in a 50 meter pool\, a 12 mile rolling bike course and a 5 K run. \nSprint = Sprint + Sprint Relay + Sprint SwimBike + Sprint SwimRun + Sprint Swim + 5K \nROUTES. \nAID STATIONS.  Aid stations will be located every 1.5 to 2 miles along each course and will include:  Water\, Gatorade\, Pepsi\, Cuties\, bananas\, Fig Newtons\, min-pretzels\, California Raisins\, blueberries & chia seeds.  Sunscreen will also be available. \nAWARDS.  (TOP 3 OA MALE & FEMALE). 36 awards are given to the top 3 overall finishers\, both male and female\, in each event. There are no age group awards due to the number of events and the amount of time required to distribute them. Athletes will earn points in the Grand Prix USA standings which will be tallied by the end of the year. \nSPRINT (36) - Triathlon\, Relay\, SwimBike\, SwimRun\, Swim & 5K Run \nPACKET PICKUP.  Race morning only. \nRACE PHOTOS.  A couple days after the race photos will be uploaded in a folder on the Cal Tri Events Facebook Page so they can be tagged and shared. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVolunteer One\, Get One (VOGO). DESCRIPTION:Cal Tri Events is pleased to announce the addition of 2021 Cal Tri Lake Perris to the recent national expansion \n 2021 CAL TRI LAKE PERRIS - 5.9.21 is located 11 miles south of Riverside off Highway 60 within proximity to several major population centers including Anaheim (55 miles) and LA (70 miles) to the west and San Diego (90 miles) to the south.  Visitors to the 8\,200-acre Lake Perris State Recreation Area (SRA) can enjoy an abundance of recreational activities\, including hiking\, bicycling\, fishing\, swimming\, picnicking\, camping\, rock climbing\, horseback riding\, and visiting the Ya’i Heki’ Regional Indian Museum.  It is one of the most popular recreation lakes along the State Water Project. \nRACE COURSE.  Athletes will swim in the same waters that will be used as part of the 2028 LA Olympics canoe and rowing competition.  The sprint course is a 400-yard swim\, a hilly\, 16.3-mile bike with 1000’ of elevation\, and 5K run.  The Olympic course is a 1\,640-yard swim\, a 24-mile bike with 1\,500’ of elevation\, and a 10K run that includes running on the Lake Perris Dam. \nRACE OPTIONS.  Olympic Distance (Triathlon\, Triathlon Relay\, SwimBike\, SwimRun\, 1640 Yard Swim & 10K Run) and Sprint Distance (Triathlon\, Triathlon Relay\, SwimBike\, SwimRun\, 400 yard Swim & 5K Run).  There is something for everyone! \nVolunteer One\, Get One (VOGO). DESCRIPTION:2021 CAL TRI AUSTIN - 4.25.21 will be held deep in the heart of Texas in Pflugerville\, approximately 20 miles northeast of downtown Austin.  U.S. News & World Report named Austin the No. 1 place to live in the U.S. for 2017 and 2018.  The city’s official slogan promotes Austin as “The Live Music Capital of the World”\, a reference to the city’s many musicians and live music venues.  Whether it is the music\, food\, or eclectic art scene the Austin area is the place to be. \nRACE OPTIONS.  12 unique event options at both the Olympic Distance (Triathlon\, Triathlon Relay\, SwimBike\, SwimRun\, 1640 Yard Swim & 10K Run) and Sprint Distance (Triathlon\, Triathlon Relay\, Swim Bike\, SwimRun\, 400 yard Swim & 5K Run).  There is something for everyone! \nRACE COURSE.  Lake Pflugerville\, a 180-acre reservoir that provides the citizens of Pflugerville with drinking water\, serves as the swim venue and race headquarters.  The bike course is a rolling\, 13 mile loop and the run course is a 3-mile trail around Lake Pflugerville.  Sprint athletes complete the bike and run course 1 time versus 2 times for Olympic athletes.   This is the same course as the highly regarded Lake Pflugerville Triathlon. \nVolunteer One\, Get One (VOGO).
