2025 Cal Tri Williamsburg - 7.20.25 returns to “The Burg” with 300+ athletes, ages 8 to 75, from 18 states and 4 countries eager to set personal bests on Cal Tri Events’ fastest course. Athletes will participate in 18 separate fast course events including; triathlon, runbikerun, swimbike, swimrun, swim and run at both the sprint and olympic distances. 30% of the participants will be first time multisport athletes and a large group of spectators will be on hand taking in all the action and cheering for their favorite athletes. We want to thank our friends from James City County for their support of community driven events like Cal Tri Williamsburg.
2025 highlights include:
- Volunteer Spotlight. We want to thank William & Mary Ultimate, Lafayette High School National Honor Society & the Jamestown High School Football Team for providing volunteer support. In 2024, Cal Tri Events donated approximately $45K to nonprofit organizations that were integral in supporting our athletes.
- Team Spotlight. Fast course triathlon is a fantastic health & wellness option. Athletes representing local companies Sentara Healthcare, Norfolk Naval Shipyard & Portsmouth Naval Medical Center as well as the Yorktown Triathlon Club are well represented on the participant list.
- Spoke & Art Run Course. A special thanks to Spoke & Art who is staffing the run course on Sunday morning. Located on the Capital Trail, they offer great food and drink with plenty of outdoor seating and live music. They also rent bikes.
- Saturday’s Athletica Free Swim & Coaching Clinic (90 minutes). Athletes receive instruction and practice the five focals of faster swimming followed by dryland instruction to get race ready. The session is free to registered athletes courtesy of Athletica.
